You work with Alex directly, so decisions about layout, materials and finishes do not get lost between layers of management.

What's included

The scope of a new home build

Every new home build is scoped to your home. This is the work it can cover.

  • General contracting

One point of contact responsible for the build, coordinating the work in the right order from start to finish.

  • Structure to finish

The build taken from foundation through framing and systems to the interior finishes you live with every day.

  • Kitchens and bathrooms

The rooms we know best, built new: cabinets, counters, tile, showers and fixtures.

  • Finish selection

Help choosing flooring, tile, cabinets, fixtures and hardware, so selections are made in time and fit the budget.

  • Direct line to the owner

Questions and changes go straight to Alex, who is involved on the job rather than managing it from a distance.

How it works

How a new home build runs

A predictable process, so you always know what happens next.

  1. First conversation

Tell us about the lot, your plans or ideas, and your budget. Bring drawings if you have them.

  2. Scope, schedule, quote

We review the plans with you, agree what is included and set out a written quote and a schedule for the work.

  3. Build and keep you posted

The home is built stage by stage, with Alex on site and you kept up to date on progress and upcoming decisions.

  4. Finishes and handover

Interior finishes go in, then we walk the house with you and take care of any remaining items.

Choices worth thinking through

A new home is hundreds of decisions. These are the ones worth getting ahead of.

  • Lock in finishes early

Cabinets, tile, windows and fixtures can have long lead times. Choosing them before they are needed keeps the build moving and avoids rushed decisions late in the job.

  • Plan kitchens and baths around use

Where the sink, range and island go, how much counter space you need and how bathrooms are shared are easier and cheaper to get right on paper than to change later.

  • Built for the coast

Near the ocean, finishes and hardware that hold up to salt air and moisture are worth the small extra cost. Durable, easy-clean floors suit sand and indoor-outdoor living.

  • Know what is in the quote

A clear written scope that lists what is included, and what allowances cover, makes it easy to compare and avoids surprises.

Not sure what suits your home? Alex brings it up at the free estimate and helps you weigh looks, upkeep and budget.

Reviews

What working with Alex is like

A 5-star review from a client on Yelp, word for word.

“At first, I hired Alex to do some handyman work around the house, and I was really impressed with his quality of work and reasonable prices. When it was time to remodel my kitchen, choosing Alex was a no-brainer. He guided me through the entire process, from picking out the best cabinets within my budget to selecting all the new hardware. The transformation was incredible—my kitchen looks amazing now! Alex's attention to detail and expertise made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.”
