About us
Owner-led construction in San Diego County
Coastal Stone Construction remodels kitchens and bathrooms, renovates homes and builds new ones. When you hire us, you deal directly with Alex, the owner.
Meet Alex
Owner-led and hands-on
Coastal Stone Construction is run by its owner, Alex, and he stays close to the work. In their Google and Yelp reviews, clients describe him coming out soon after they called about an estimate, helping them pick cabinets and hardware within their budget, being a perfectionist about getting the job done well, and leaving the job site spotless at the end of each day.
That keeps things simple. A remodel involves dozens of small decisions: which cabinets fit the budget, which tile works with the floor, what hardware ties it all together. Talking them through with the owner directly means fewer things get lost along the way.
Clients have hired us for jobs big and small, from a farmhouse sink install in La Jolla to bathroom remodels in San Diego and a kitchen remodel in Carlsbad. Plenty of clients start small: one Carlsbad homeowner first hired Alex for handyman work and came back when it was time to redo her kitchen.
“At first, I hired Alex to do some handyman work around the house, and I was really impressed with his quality of work and reasonable prices. When it was time to remodel my kitchen, choosing Alex was a no-brainer. He guided me through the entire process, from picking out the best cabinets within my budget to selecting all the new hardware. The transformation was incredible—my kitchen looks amazing now! Alex's attention to detail and expertise made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.”
